stampin up take on things

I quickly whipped up a page from Saturday with Stampin up products this time the paper flowers have been re coloured with re inkers and water or rolled with a brayer on a stamp pad or punched out of cardstock also used are stampin up eyelets, brads and mat pac set to give the impression of stitching and the cutter kit to do all that distressing'.

I used Bali breeze designer series paper as it is the brightest paper I have and I kinda like it now that I have given it a go

Nic Howard scrapbooking Guru

Yesterday I had great delight with meeting and attending a scrapbooking day with Author Scrapbook Guru Nic Howard It was a fun day and a great opportunity to chat with Nic and to meet up with a lot of Old and New Friends

I have had the busiest Sunday as both these Ladies called in to my place in Oamaru on the way back to the Deeper south and we Ended up spending the whole day talking Stampin up and sharing heaps of new tips so Along with the teaching from Nic Howard we are all totally pumped....so to speak LOL

So pleased that Kristina's colour challenge this week has allowed me to a classic farewell to the summer by the sea stamp set nothing frilly or fancy just the beauty of this set

I must say that pink is one of my favourinte colours but I had a real brain freeze at 2am when I made this with all the pink and red and black and blue yikes

Just had a bit of a play with different card stock and layers of designer series paper the stamp set is rough alphabet which I just love to bits but is sadly retired this month

I really love using the stampin around wheels this on is called Nursery letters jumbo wheel which is great for any age school page as well as the baroque Border standard wheel which I am pretty sure will both be in the new Catalogue out the 1st of April.

stamps sets also used are live your dream (verse) and best friend alphabet upper and lower case sadly this set has been retired but I am looking forward to what stampin up will be replacing it with .

Fantails and Fungi 12x12 page

I Love walking through the bush to give Sariah (the dog) a good run and there is nothing nicer than being followed by a couple of cheeky fantails they are so hard to catch in a photo as the flit from place to place there where several different types of Fungi as well but this on came out the best I have only used papers from the spring showers pack to show how versitile stampin up designer series papers are in range and compatability

Oh those who know her think she is a princess and so does she but she doesn't think much of the crown..... goodness knows what Millie the cat is thinking but it doesn't look good

p.s. she will sit like that for ages if you happen to have a biscuit in your hand

Millie(cat) and Hudini (budgie) are often found hanging out together Hudini is also known to clean Millies claws which he does chattering all the time. I would like to be able to say that millie would never have him for lunch..... but I am not sure that the friendship is that strong

For this posting I have used stampin up designer series paper Brocade Backgrounds with supporting role played by chocolate chip and a little apple cider also a designer paper

Another week has flown by and another Kristina colour challenge love these colours all the time

This delighful young lady is my hairdresser and we have great fun together on this day we both brought in our wig collection and had a neat time hamming it up with all the different wigs this one in particular suited her I thought
I have used stampin up current in papers which are soon to be retired and a variey of stamps sets for the semi random stamping

This was a great wee set with matching wheel which is currently on the retiring list this year
