There where many shining stars at convention and I would like to introduce you to my first one Shannon West.http://stampingqueens.blogspot.com/ Shannon is a Training event facilitator for Stampin up I adored Shannon for several reasons , she loves bling, wears great clothes uses the circle scissors with pizazz, has been to Italy.....my dream for when i turn 50 and has talent by the bucket loads and did I mention her lovely American accent and sense of humour. I am thrilled to be up skilled with this great peice of equipment shame I am still in Sydney but wait till Monday I will have it out and circle scissoring in a flurry.

60 pages in two days, One wedding Album

Well we did it and I can bearly believe it 60 12x12 scrap book pages in 2 days so pleased that we did. Anyway its off to convention in sydney in the morning.... will keep you posted

Well I have finally had a moment to create a 12x12 scrapbook page this afternoon and I loved it.
I finished night duty this morning, and now I have two weeks leave yahhhhho . I am off to Sydney next week for the Stampin up Convention Exciting +++ as I am sharing an apartment with two of the most Awesome Stampin up Demos in New Zealand Rachael Knight of Auckland and Pauline Mc Ardle of Napier she is on the design team for up to scrap so it will be chat chat chat I cant wait.

Then I also get the chance to get my hands on this wee chap again and his big brother Lachlan yum yum yum they are both such snuggly wee chaps

I have just finished making my 100 swaps and am swapped out then I have a couple of girlfriends coming over on Monday and Tuesday to do approximately a 40 page 12x12 wedding Album Yikes. I so hope to sleep on the plane over as it may very well be the only chance I get this fortnight LOL

House of Breakthrough Oamaru

The Launch of our new church House of Breakthrough has finally Happened and it is fantastic
Pastors Damien and Jacinda Goodsir and there fabulous team opened this weekend in the Oamaru Opera house. I cant tell you how good it was as it was such a huge God Moment.

Pastor's Norm and Jess McLeod along with Maori Cultural Group Waka Toa made the whole weekend AMAZING thank you house of Breakthrough Gisborne for sharing them with us

The work up to the launch was challenging at times but the weekend was exhilarating to say the least. Praise God for everyone involved and the purpose of this Church, and for those yet to come, and for the Lords infinate wisdom, power and joy amen

Hubby' treat

James had been away on saturday and it provided me with the opportunity to be in the kitchen for the whole afternoon, which I love I finished off my quince Paste and made croissant dough.

I have never made croissants before but I a pleased with the way may first batch came out Iwe had them for breakie before church with lovely homemade raspberry jam, oh sometimes it is true there is much pleasure in simple things

Black, Silver and White

Here is my contribution towards our team swap which we had last week. It is a wedding invitation and uses the extra large two step punch, which folds away nice and flatly on a shelf, i also am a firm advocate for embossing which I have done here with clear embossing powder.

wedding expo continues

Well out of the 200 engaged ladies I spoke to only two had any Idea what colours they wanted. I know one lady wanted chocolate chip with taken with teal (thats the stampin up names for it) and the other lady was green , I must admit my black silver and white table caused a lot of interest including the silver roses I made but cant find the photo of (thank you Janine )

a blessed life

My Husband James and I where so blessed by the lord, this weekend I am nearly bursting from the Joy of it all, Church in the morning was the most powerful thing I have yet to experience with a total praise and worship service that totally moved me to a level that I have never been in before thank you lord and the family of the House of Breakthrough, amazing amazing.

We had planned to have a room at a bed in breakfast prior to attending an appointment in Queenstown the following day, Well can I just say I was delighted to find that not only did we get a room in a beautiful house but we had the whole house to ourselves complete with lake frontage olive groves vineyards and an awe inspiring collection to New Zealand art works.

James and My life have turned totally around in the past 2 months and we could not have made the changes in our lives that we have made or had the experiences that we have had in the past 8 weeks( and yet to come) with out Jesus Christ being in our lives. thank you Jesus amen

stampalicious lots of stamps

What a time was had this Afternoon I grabbed a pile of my very beautiful stampin up stamps and created this canvas based on the one demonstrated by the very fabulous and talented Nic Howard that I saw on Debbie McRobies website.

I just loved the way it all came together. I will list the stamp sets I played with today

Priceless, baroque motifs,friends 24/7, all a flutter (next mini) Wheels jumbo Nursery letters, friendly words, Inks close to cocoa, creamy caramel, really rust, craft white, stazon black'

extra yummy bits, white embossing powder, dazzliling diamonds super sparkly glitter added to a ink and clue mix to add extra varooom, and a now deleted flower punch that reminds me I must get the current one lol

Now to give you the reason why i haven't posted for awhile..... I have been all over the country attending fantastic classes . 1st in Auckland with my delightful team leader Jacqui Pederson pictured above (Jacqui) then again with Jacqui and the fabulous team of girls in the Canterbury region. Wow what a great day thanks girls, Lisa, June and Lorraine totally talented

Therefor I am jam packed with ideas and projects to get EVEN MORE out of our stampin up materials with a selection of masculine and feminine gifts, so give me a call and I will book you into one of my classes or send you out a class planner

JA14 challenge

Thought I would have a go at a challenge put down by the girls at just add ink I made made a small tag to a friends welcome home gift basket.

the colours allowed where sage shadow, rose red, more mustard and Kraft. the stamps set is from the current sale a bration series good neighbours

the tags are the same just the backdrop has been changed

Just love this little gift, that will be perfect for my hubby as a gift tag. I was fortunate enough to attended a class at my upline Jacque Pederson's in Auckland. and it will be very handy to match up with several stamp sets and punches.

However I do especially like this heart stamp set from the current summer mini catalogue feel free to contact me about it.

rooster 3D

My girlfriend just Love's chickens and yes I do know that this is a Rooster but he looks so nice in real life water coloured with stampin up earth elements water colour crayons and covered with crystal effects. Then popped in a three D frame.

hearts for anytime of year

Now those of you who follow my blog regularly will know that I don't get to use pink very often...

However for my loved up valentines card this year I thought I would use the softer pink and combine it with tangerine tango inks.

I just love the stampin up punches and for this card I have used the oval scallop punch along with the scallop edge punch and my new heart to heart punch

I rolled over pink card stock with my retro remix wheel from the current mini catalogue prior to punching the hearts , while the I love you is set in the vintage labels stamp set. Which for the next two months you can get the whole set (6 stamps in all) free.

round and round

The inspiration for this circle punch card came from my sister in law Diane and from the fact the for the past week I have been going round and round in circles looking for a new computer to access the web. Therefore allowing me to blog again.
