ginger blossom elegance

I really love the ginger blossom D/series paper that is currently available in the summer mini catalogue it goes so well with just about anything even my girlfriend Hamming it up in the Hat department sometimes its good not to act your age LOL

I have also used an assortment of stampin up punches for accent and decoration as well as some
pearl dots to accent the flower centre and rim of circle

Ribbon oh I love it

I have been having a wee play while my computer was being repaired and made this padded book bag for a special friend but I couldnt make it with out a little stampin up embellishment as we know page 147 of this years catalogue shows a lovely range of ribbon sets this was one from last years collection so dont miss out as this years catty is finished at the end of March and it is awful to miss out

OHHHHHH NOOOOO i cant believe it I think my lovely little lap top as got the blue screen of death and I may not be able to post for a few days as I am unable to upload pictures in the work computer so please send me positive thoughts and prayers that the wee computer lives again

embrace life fingerless gloves

I had great fun with this alternative to scrapbooking or card making with stamps from the embrace life set the second glove in Red is embroidered I always like to push the boat out abit

What an excellent use for Hodgepodge Hardware . Diane (my sister in law) Made James my Husband this Fantastic birthday card which James totally loved except for the numbers....LOL She created the design template herself based on husband Steves Fishing Jacket AWESOME

Burda Pattern Trelise Cooper Fabric

I have had a wee break from stampin and have made a dress from the Trelise Cooper Fabric I brought in Auckland the last time I was there. In stampin up colours it is Sahara Sand Choc Chip and Rose Red now I just have to get used to walking in it lol

scrap quilting

Like my up line Jacque I to have also been playing around with fabric and stamps or paper to look like fabric.

This Cheap photo album ( i brought this for carrying photos around prior to putting in albums ie a photo fax )

Has been covered with strips of /ginger Blossom paper to look like quilting strips , some stitching has been created with even dashes of stamp and write markers covered with crystal effects for gloss and definition beads have also been sewn in a zig zag pattern and covered with Crystal effects as bugle beads tend to cut cotton but if I had used seed beads that is not a problem and they would have given movement to the page/cover the edges have been secured with 7gypsies gaffer tape as stampin up dont have that product !!!yet

Tabs on pages have been made with matching paper and round tab punch the new scallop edge punch in the summer catalogue has also been used for effect along with embrace life stamp set used for embellishments

These are some photos of the best girl as we spent a day at the river fishing she can pull more faces than I can and believe me thats saying something she is a purebred Black and White English Springer Spaniel and very much loved by all who meet her......no embellishment required for natural beauties LOL
